This policy is a working draft prepared for review. It must be approved by the owner and qualified legal counsel before OccupyHQ launches publicly.

What we collect

Account information you provide: name, email address, and optional profile details such as timezone, life roles, career, skills, interests and goals.

Content you create: saved decisions, next moves, outcomes, journal entries, assessment responses and profile information.

Usage signals: privacy-safe event counts (for example, that a decision map was generated). We never record the text of your decisions, dilemmas or shared advice in analytics.

Guest use

You can explore Decision Lab without an account. Guest sessions use a signed, expiring browser cookie to apply fair-use limits. Guest decision results expire after 23 hours and are removed within 24 hours; your original dilemma text is not stored for guests.

Your decisions are private

Saved decisions, simulations, next moves and outcomes are visible only to you. Decision Briefs you choose to share are accessible only through a unique link that you can revoke at any time. Recipients can respond without creating an account and without seeing any other part of your account.

How we use information

To provide and personalize the service, remember your progress, apply fair-use limits, keep the service secure, and produce aggregated, non-identifying usage statistics. We do not sell your personal information.

AI processing

Decision Lab, Purpose Discovery and related features send the text you enter to an AI model to generate your results. Results are guidance, not predictions or professional advice. Safety-sensitive inputs receive safety handling rather than simulation.

Payments

Payments are processed by our payment provider. OccupyHQ never sees or stores your full card details. We store only the records needed to confirm your entitlement (for example, that a purchase completed).

Data retention and deletion

Guest data expires automatically within 24 hours. Account data is kept while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting support.

Your controls

Granular profile privacy controls are available in Settings. You choose what appears on your public profile, and you can revoke shared Decision Brief links at any time.
